Your new home comes wired with a 200amp electrical service including the panel box and breakers! The factory pre wires the kitchen module mounting the panel to a piece of 3/4" black plywood which is temporarily fastened to the gable end (Shown in photo right). This pre wired panel will be removed by the set crew and lowered into the basement during the set. The on site electrician will take over from here! The factory provides a as built electrical plan which has all information regarding circuit layouts, smoke detector junctions and required on site connections. Your on site electrician will be responsible for mounting the panel to the foundation wall, running leads from other modules into the panel, installing the meter can and main service, installing basement and attic lighting, wiring for on site items such as your well pump, generator (If you plan for one), site built garage or porch lighting. The factory ships all exterior light fixtures and interior light globes loose these must be installed by the electrician after the home has been set. Your electrician will make arrangements through your building inspector to get the service inspected and the request for new electrical service to the power company for hookup.
